Location and History of Surrey Quays

Surrey Quays is in southeast London, in the borough of Southwark, and borders Canada Water and Rotherhithe. It gets its name from being near the former Surrey Commercial Docks, which were filled in with rubble during WWII bombing raids. They are now home to shops, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

Surrey Quays is a popular place to live among young professionals due to its convenient location and good transport links. The area is served by Surrey Quays and Canada Water underground stations on the Jubilee line, as well as many bus routes. The area is also popular with families, with several schools located nearby.
